Edin Dzeko could reportedly return to the Premier League in January and reunite with Manuel Pellegrini at West Ham United.
Edin Dzeko turns 33 in March and, in his last spell in English football, was sold by Manuel Pellegrini after he fell out of favour at Manchester City.
But, putting aside the negatives, there is little doubt that the Bosnian striker would be a terrific addition to West Ham United’s squad. Whisper it, but he could perhaps be their missing link.
According to Calciomercato, West Ham are willing to pay £22 million to reunite Dzeko with Pellegrini at the London Stadium in the January transfer window.

Calciomercato reports that the Hammers are prepared to make Dzeko one of their highest paid players while offering him a director role when he retires.
The former Wolfsburg man has recently completed a degree in sports management.
Beyond all this, Dzeko’s scoring rate remains outstanding. He has netted 55 goals in 111 Serie A games for Roma, a record better than one-in-two.
Dzeko also plundered 26 goals in all competitions under Pellegrini in 2013/14 at Manchester City. The positives, then, far outweigh the negatives.
