Liverpool reportedly want to bring Isco to Anfield, with the Premier League challengers hoping to take advantage of his Real Madrid struggles.

Liverpool have arguably the world’s best goalkeeper, the number one centre-back on the globe, two wonderful young full-backs and a front three that would make any defender on the planet feel a little uneasy. No wonder they are battling Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.
But there is one problem with Liverpool’s squad. At least, that is the common consensus. They have never really replaced Philippe Coutinho since his 2018 move to Barcelona, with Jurgen Klopp’s midfield possessing more tenacity than technique.
Isco, then, could be exactly what they are missing. The Spanish international is out of favour at Real Madrid, failing to start a La Liga game in over five months and Tuttosport believes that Liverpool could offer him an escape route in the summer.

Anyone who has watched Isco strut his stuff in Madrid’s famous white kit will tell you that he is a joy to behold, a wonderfully gifted play-maker who dances across the pitch, all pirouettes, tricks and flicks. There is the odd wonder goal, too.
So why some Liverpool fans are demanding an alternative option remains a mystery. Hakim Ziyech and Nabil Fekir are talented but they have got nothing on Isco.
