Scottish Premiership giants Rangers are reportedly keen to sign Brandon Barker from Manchester City after his loan spell at Hibernian.

We are only in the first week of June but Steven Gerrard’s overhaul of the Rangers squad is already well underway.
Allan McGregor and Scott Arfield have both been hugely popular free transfer additions from Hull City and Burnley respectively while Jamie Murphy is expected to sign on loan from Brighton.
And, on Thursday, Rangers managed to secure a season-long deal for Liverpool youngster Ovie Ejaria while reportedly agreeing a deal for Connor Goldson, who is expected to arrive from Brighton for around £3 million, according to Sky Sports.

But will Brandon Barker be the latest man to join the Rangers revolution? The Scottish Sun are reporting that the Light Blues are weighing up an offer to sign the 21-year-old Manchester City starlet, who will be allowed to leave the Premier League champions if he so wishes.
There is no doubting the quality of this England U20 ace. Barker is one of the most exciting prospects to emerge from Manchester City’s £200 million academy campus since it was opened; his speed, skill and eye for goal making him one of the most feared attackers at youth level anywhere in the country.

But Barker had a rather mixed time on loan at Hibernian last season, scoring one goal and setting up four in 22 Scottish Premiership games. So is he good enough yet for a club of Rangers’ stature?
