Kenny Miller was forced to spend time with Rangers’ Under-20s after a reported falling out with manager Pedro Caixinha.

Pedro Caixinha doesn’t usually back down. Kenny Miller is far from the first senior Rangers player to get on the wrong side of the manager since he arrived in March but you wonder whether the 37-year-old striker will be the first to survive in order to tell the tale.
Caixinha reportedly saw the action as a sign of disobedience and singled Miller out for criticism. Therefore, the fans’ favourite spent his weekend with Rangers’ Under-20s in Brentford instead.

Many assumed that Miller, who has had three spells with the Ibrox club spreading over 17 years, had played his final game in the famous royal blue.
While the likes of Rob Kiernan and Harry Forrester were demoted to the reserves after falling out of favour under Caixinha, however, Rangers have perhaps provided the clearest indication yet that Miller does indeed have a future at Ibrox.

In the latest selection of training pictures posted on Rangers’ official website, Miller can be spotted keeping up his fitness alongside Carlos Pena and Jak Alnwick under the watchful eye of Caixinha.
Is the water flowing under the bridge, then? We may not know for sure until The Gers travel to St Johnstone after the international break but the signs are certainly good for Miller and Caixinha.
