Stuart Findlay is a reported £1million target for Sheffield Wednesday and will play against Rangers at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.

With the disappointment of the 2-0 Scottish Cup quarter-final defeat to Aberdeen still in their minds, Rangers will need to clear their heads and fast as they prepare to take on a typically difficult Kilmarnock side at Ibrox.
Killie will make the trip to Ibrox tomorrow hoping to take revenge for their 5-0 defeat against Steven Gerrard’s side in February.
Stuart Findlay was missing that night as Alfredo Morelos ran riot, but he is expected to start this time around.
With Rangers seemingly in need of signing one more centre-back during the summer, with Nikola Katic out of favour and Joe Worrall only on loan, Findlay might have an opportunity to play his way into Gerrard’s sights.

The 23-year-old, who was released by Celtic in 2016, has blossomed in Ayrshire, becoming one of the league’s best defenders. He was outstanding in the 1-0 win at St Mirren on Monday, producing a Man of the Match performance filled with the kind of dogged determination and leadership that Rangers are crying out for.
The Mail (15 March, page 94) reports that Sheffield Wednesday are planning a £1 million summer bid for Findlay. But do not rule out Rangers making a move if Findlay impresses tomorrow.
