Fulham and Huddersfield are reportedly keen on Wilson, while Rangers have been previously linked with a move.

The Scottish Sun claimed last month that Rangers are interested in signing Liverpool winger Harry Wilson on a season-long loan. They now reportedly face Premier League competition, but do they hold an advantage?
The 21-year-old is said to be interesting Premier League duo Fulham and Huddersfield Town, according to the Daily Mirror, who claim that the top-tier sides are looking to land Wilson on a permanent basis – for £7million.
Rangers are unlikely to match the Premier League sides financially and would certainly struggle to afford anything close to £7million, with Steven Gerrard tasked with spending his limited transfer kitty wisely.

But the Mirror report claims that Gerrard’s former side would prefer to loan Wales international Wilson out, rather than selling him permanently.
It could see Rangers hold an advantage in the race to sign Wilson, who starred on loan at English Championship club Hull City last season. He scored seven goals in 13 league games for Nigel Adkins’ side.

Wilson’s form for Liverpool’s Under-23 side, Hull and indeed on the international scene for Wales is the reason for Liverpool only wanting him to leave on loan, with the star showing more than enough potential to have a first-team role at Anfield soon.
He would certainly be a coup for Gerrard and Rangers, but the must move quickly with Huddersfield and Fulham likely to place bids in the near future. Gerrard’s connection, as well as their aim to take Wilson on loan, could see them win the race.
