Rogic has scored three goals in 13 league games this season from an attacking midfield role.
Rangers loanee Ovie Ejaria has failed to seize his chance to command the position for the Light Blues.
Perhaps the returning Carlos Pena can step up as their own Rogic.
Pena’s goal return last season is favourably comparable to Rogic. He scored four time in 12 league games.
There were indifferent performances too, but Pena showed an ability to impact the game where Ejaria has recently struggled.
Pena is set to be eligible to return in January after his loan deal with Necaxa was terminated.

If Steven Gerrard can get Pena’s head right, he may have a talent capable of bringing what the team needs right now.
Providing Pena can show he wants it, Rangers should offer him a second chance.
