Ibrox cub Glasgow Rangers reportedly want Swansea City’s Kyle Bartley, who had two loan spells at the Gers, and Leeds United are also claimed to be interested.

Kyle Bartley had two loan spells at Rangers and one at Leeds United, and both the Ibrox club and the Elland Road outfit want to sign the Swansea City defender on a permanent contract in the summer transfer window, according to The Scottish Sun.
It has been reported that new Rangers manager Steven Gerrard wants the central defender in his squad at Ibrox next season, and that the 26-year-old would consider moving to the Gers.

Both Rangers and Leeds are reportedly confident that they can secure the services of the former Arsenal prospect for £2.5 million, but maybe the Gers have an advantage in the race for the 26-year-old’s services.
According to The Scottish Sun, Bartley has the same representatives as Rangers manager Gerrard, and maybe that could provide the Scottish Premiership club with an advantage.

However, Rangers could face an issue with Bartley’s wages. According to Spotrac.com, the former England Under-17 international defender earns £28,000 per week as salary at Swansea. Would the Gers be able to at least match that salary?
