Rangers winger Michael O’Halloran is reportedly set to return to Ibrox when his loan spell at St Johnstone ends in the January transfer window.

After being accused for weeks of lacking in direction, Rangers seem to be in a decisive mood right now.
The Ibrox giants have finally appointed interim boss Graeme Murty as the club’s full-time manager until the end of the season, bringing an end to the drama about who would replace Pedro Caixinha in the dugout.
And at the same time, Rangers announced the permanent signing of Declan John, the on-loan left-back who has starred since arriving from Cardiff City.

But that’s not all the good news. As reported by the Daily Record, St Johnstone manager Tommy Wright has confirmed that Rangers want Michael O’Halloran back at Ibrox in January – of course they do.
O’Halloran was bafflingly farmed out on loan to St Johnstone during the summer, after seemingly getting on the wrong side of Caixinha, and wasted no time showing his parent club what they were missing.
The 26-year-old winger has found his form again back at McDiarmid Park, winning the Scottish Premiership’s Player of the Month award in August.

St Johnstone unsurprisingly want to keep O’Halloran, but he looks set to return to Ibrox when his loan ends in January. And with a gap in Rangers’ squad on the left wing, supporters are more than happy to welcome the wideman back.
