League One outfit Doncaster Rovers are reportedly set to sign Glenn Middleton on loan from Glasgow Rangers.

Greg Docherty will be returning to Rangers this summer with his confidence, and his reputation, through the roof.
After struggling to force his way into the first-team at Ibrox, Docherty moved on loan to Shrewsbury Town last summer. With 10 goals and 11 assists to his name during the 2018/19 campaign, a short-term spell with the Shrews might just have saved his Rangers career.
If Glenn Middleton makes the same impact in the third tier of English football with Doncaster Rovers, the decision to send this highly talented young winger to South Yorkshire will have been justified.

According to the Daily Record, the 19-year-old is heading to Doncaster on loan after being forced down the pecking order by the arrivals of Jordan Jones and Ryan Hardie.
Middleton scored five times in 27 games for Rangers in 2018/19, catching the eye with his speed and eye for the spectacular but he has a long way to go before he establishes himself as a regular starter under Steven Gerrard.
But that does not mean each and every Rangers fan agrees with the decision to send him south of the border.
