Greg Taylor has been linked with a return to Ibrox with Rangers reportedly keen on signing the Scottish Premiership left-back from Kilmarnock.

Kilmarnock’s season could hardly have started much worse.
After a sensational 2018/19 campaign under Steve Clarke, new manager Angelo Alessio has already been seriously undermined by a humiliating Europa League defeat to Welsh minnows Connah’s Quay.
And, to make matters worse, Killie are facing up to the prospect of losing one of their key players – highly-rated left-back Greg Taylor. The 21-year-old Scotland international started his career with Rangers and the Daily Record believe that an emotional return to Ibrox could be on the cards.
Kilmarnock value Taylor at £400,000 and that is a small price to pay, quite literally, for a Rangers side who are lacking convincing options at left-back.
At least, that’s how the situation looked just a few weeks ago.

£2.2 million Borna Barisic found himself under threat and under pressure after a worrying run of form in the last few months which apparently had Rangers scouring the market for potential replacements.
But the Croatian looked back to his very best in the 5-0 Europa League qualifying win against St Josephs of Gibraltar, providing a pinpoint assist for Ryan Jack’s goal before scoring a stunning free-kick himself.
And the versatile Andy Halliday once again filled in with distinction as Rangers beat old adversaries Progres Niederkorn 2-0 on Thursday, producing a performance full of energy and tenacity on the flank.
Taylor has a bright future in Scottish football – but a return to Rangers should be put on the back-burner for another 12 months. The sample size may be small and the opposition limited but Barisic and Halliday deserve another chance to earn Steven Gerrard’s trust.
