Moses Odubajo is leaving Hull City when his contract expires but could he be an option for Championship rivals Derby County or Nottingham Forest?

Nottingham Forest and Derby County appear to be taking their rivalry to the next level this summer, with the East Midland giants both fighting it out to sign Peterborough United’s prolific attacking duo Jack Marriott and Marcus Maddison.
But should Moses Odubajo’s sudden availability spark a similar scrap between two of the biggest clubs in the Championship?
The 24-year-old has become the latest key player to leave Hull City upon the expiry of his contract, following Allan McGregor, Michael Dawson, David Meyler and Abel Hernandez out of the KCom Stadium.

And, despite the fact he has not played a single game since the 2016 Championship play-off final thanks to a dreadful run of serious knee injuries, it seems there is no shortage of fans who want Odubajo snapped up.
Supporters of both Nottingham Forest and Derby appear to be big fans of the speedy former Leyton Orient winger who, if he can regain his fitness, would be a fine addition on a free transfer.

The 24-year-old was transformed into an attack-minded right-wing back under Steve Bruce at Hull and could replace Eric Lichaj at Forest or give Derby a more potent alternative to Andre Wisdom.
It remains to be seen, however, whether any club is willing to take a chance on a player who has been on the sidelines for so long.
