Wolverhampton Wanderers reportedly want to hand Southampton’s Inter Milan loanee a fresh start in the Premier League.

Cedric Soares could reportedly be the next Portuguese international on his way to Molineux.
Tuttomercatoweb claimed earlier this week that Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in reuniting Cedric with his compatriots Rui Patricio, Ruben Neves, Joao Moutinho and co in the summer.
The former Sporting Lisbon flyer would provide some much needed competition for Matt Doherty in Nuno Espirito Santo’s tailor-made right-wing back role.
But how much would Cedric cost?
Probably a lot less than the £20 million he was apparently worth back in the summer of 2017, as reported by the Standard.
Two years ago, Cedric was at the top of his game, establishing himself as one of the Premier League’s best right-backs and a regular starter for the Portuguese national team.

Flash forward to the present day, however, and he has been replaced by Joao Cancelo by his country and has fallen behind young Yann Valery at Southampton.
Cedric is currently on loan at Inter Milan but he’s struggling in Italy, too. Tuttomercatoweb reports that Inter are now very unlikely to take up their option to sign Cedric permanently for around £10 million.
But this could open the door for Wolves to sign a gifted yet out-of-form player for half-price. And don’t bet against Cedric getting back to his best under Nuno at Molineux.
