Claudio Yacob left West Brom for Nottingham Forest but could he make his debut in the EFL Cup clash against Burton Albion?

Claudio Yacob was certainly up against it in attempting to secure a starting berth at Nottingham Forest.
Aitor Karanka has a massive amount of central midfield options at his disposal and, as a result, the recent free-agent signing has not had a look-in. Former West Brom star Yacob has not been included in a single match-day squad since arriving at Forest in early September.
Now some fans have taken to Twitter to argue that Tuesday’s EFL Cup clash with Burton Albion is the perfect time to give Yacob his long-awaited debut; especially with regular starter Jack Colback set to miss the weekend’s fixture against table-topping Sheffield United through suspension.

Experienced Argentine Yacob is not the only Forest midfielder who will be hoping to prove themselves and nail down a place in Karanka’s XI in Colback’s absence
Like Yacob, Greek international Panagiotis Tachtsidis arrived on a free in September and he too has not been seen so far. Fan favourite Liam Bridcutt, meanwhile, has found himself out of favour and has not featured since the win against Stoke City.
