Real Madrid’s La Liga defender Jesus Vallejo appears to be on the verge of signing for Premier League outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Jesus Vallejo was spotted at Molineux on Thursday night amid claims that the Real Madrid defender is set to sign for Wolverhampton Wanderers, as reported by the Daily Star.
Marca broke the news on Thursday that the captain of the Spanish U21 side was on his way to the Black Country.
Wolves are apparently ‘one step away’ from signing Vallejo on loan for the 2019/20 season with the 22-year-old looking for regular first-team football after making just seven appearances for Real in an injury-hit campaign.
And the fact that Vallejo was at Molineux for the Europa League qualifier against Crusaders certainly adds plenty of credence to the rumours. It seems only a matter of time before the deal is signed, sealed and delivered.
An aggressive yet skilful centre-half, Vallejo has been tipped for big things for many a year.
Niko Kovac called him ‘scandalously good’ during a 2016/17 loan spell at Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga (AS) while Real’s decision to hand him the number three shirt worn with distinction by the legendary Pepe was certainly a reflection of his potential.
But with Real spending big on Eder Militao while managing to keep hold of Raphael Varane and Nacho Fernandez, Vallejo appears to have no immediate role in Zinedine Zidane’s plans and this has opened the door for Wolves.
