Newcastle United have reportedly agreed to bring Chelsea winger Kenedy back to the Stadium of Light on a season-long loan.

At long last, it seems that Newcastle United are on the verge of bringing Kenedy back to St James’ Park.

The Brazilian winger represented the Magpies on loan from Chelsea between January and May, shining as Rafa Benitez’s side compounded expectations to finish in the top half of the Premier League table.

But, with Chelsea demanding £30 million to sell Kenedy on a permanent basis, a return to Newcastle seemed to be in doubt – especially when the likes of Bayern Munich and PSG started to be linked.

Although it seems that there has now been a welcome breakthrough in negotiations. As reported by the Chronicle, Newcastle have agreed a deal with Chelsea to sign Kenedy on loan again, albeit until the end of the season this time.

And, just to add to the excitement, the Samba starlet has now been pictured at Newcastle’s train station as one of the summer’s most inspired bargain deals edges ever closer.

Kenedy, who Chelsea signed from Fluminense in the summer of 2015, will be Newcastle’s third summer signing. The Magpies have already landed South Korean international Ki Sung-Yeung on a free from Swansea City while goalkeeper Martin Dubravka has made his loan move from Sparta Prague permanent.
