Oumar Niasse is expected to bid farewell to the Premier League and Everton in January after failing to impress Marco Silva.

You might have thought that the arrival of Marco Silva at Everton would be a real plus for Oumar Niasse.
After all, the Senegal striker played for, and thrived under, Silva during a loan spell at Hull City in the second half of the 2016/17 season after being frozen out at Everton by Ronald Koeman.
But the former Watford, Sporting Lisbon and Olympiakos manager has surprisingly left Niasse on the periphery in his first few months at Goodison Park. The £13 million striker has played just 48 minutes of Premier League football all season – and Turkish Football reported that he has been told he can leave in January.
Until then, however, it seems that Niasse will be limited to reserve team football.
The 28-year-old hasn’t been included in the match day squad for each of Everton’s last six Premier League games and has been pictured on the club’s Twitter account featuring alongside a number of youngsters and fringe players in the 4-0 friendly win against Gor Mahia on Tuesday night.
Everton cruised past their Kenyan opposition to lift the SportPesa Cup with Niasse offering a reminder of his poaching ability by scoring the fourth goal. The impressive Ademola Lookman was also on the score-sheet, alongside Kieran Dowell and Nathan Broadhead.
