Romain Saiss made only his second Premier League start of the season as Wolverhampton Wanderers sealed a famous win against Chelsea.

It is fair to say the crisis is over at Molineux.
With five defeats in their last six games, Wolverhampton Wanderers fans would not have been too thrilled to see Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea make the trip to the Black Country on Wednesday night.
But Nuno Espirito Santo’s side responded to the mounting criticism in style, sealing a famous – and fully deserved – 2-1 win against a Chelsea side that had lost just once in their previous 14 Premier League fixtures.
Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota were the architects of a famous triumph, scoring in the second half to render Ruben Loftus-Cheek’s first-half effort a mere consolation.

But Romain Saiss deserves credit for his role in the victory. The 28-year-old Moroccan international appeared to have an almost impossible task when asked to step in for the suspended Ruben Neves in central midfield, but he rose to the occasion in only his second Premier League start.
Saiss outshone his exalted opposition, including Willian and Eden Hazard, and has surely given Nuno some food for thought. For far too long, Saiss has been underrated inside and outside of Molineux but surely that has to change now.
