Eintracht Frankfurt’s Bundesliga defender Falette has been linked with Championship outfit Nottingham Forest as well as French side Nantes.

Nottingham Forest have already signed one centre-back since Martin O’Neill took charge at the City Ground, bringing in Leicester City’s Yohan Benalouane on an 18-month deal.
But, according to the Irish Independent, O’Neill is hoping to bring more defenders to the East Midlands before the transfer window shuts at the end of next week. So Simon Falette could fit the bill.
Kicker claimed recently that Nottingham Forest are interested in landing the Frenchman, who currently plays his football in Germany for high-flying Eintracht Frankfurt.
But, if Forest are to bring Falette to England, they will have to bat away competition from a French top flight club.

According to Ouest France, Nantes are interested in signing the 26-year-old as a replacement for Kara Mbodji, who left the Stade de la Beaujoire earlier in January after a short loan spell from Anderlecht.
Nantes are currently 15th in Ligue 1, just six points above the bottom three, while Forest are harbouring genuine hopes of ending their 20-year exile from the Premier League under former playing legend O’Neill.
So Falette, a ball-playing defender who can fill in at left-back when required, has a decision to make.
