Jason Cummings may be on his way out of Championship giants Nottingham Forest already, with Rangers keen to bring him back to Scotland.

Jason Cummings would not be the first striker to struggle in England after scoring goals for fun north of the border.
Yet reports that the 22-year-old could be on his way out of the City Ground this month have come as something of a surprise. After all, Cummings has spent just half a season at Forest and, while he has not exactly set the world alight, there is a nagging feeling that he hasn’t really been given the opportunity to do so.
Brought to the club by the now departed Mark Warburton, Cummings has only started seven Championship games with another seven coming from the bench. And while he has netted just once in those 14 appearances, it takes time to settle in a new league and Forest may be acting a little prematurely if they let the youngster leave already; at least that is the view of some supporters anyway.

Others, it seems, would snap Rangers’ hand off with the Sunday Post stating that the Ibrox club are keen to bring Cummings back to Scotland. The stocky young goal-scorer became the first Hibs player in over 50 years to score 20 goals for three successive seasons and he clearly knows how to hit the net north of the border.
The report claims that Forest could sell if Rangers meet their £1 million price tag. But should Forest be willing to cut their losses already?
