Nottingham Forest’s 15-year-old midfielder Brennan Johnson could be on his way to Everton.
Nottingham Forest chairman Fawaz Al-Hasawi may have got on the wrong side of fans for flogging the club’s prized assets before they’ve had a chance to fulfil their potential in the first-team but this would take it to another level.
The Telegraph reports that 15-year-old starlet Brennan Johnson could be on his way to Everton. The publication claims that Forest have rejected a number of bids for the midfielder and have told The Toffees that they will not consider an offer below £1 million.
Johnson, the son of former Forest striker David, has been promoted to the club’s under-18 set up this season and seemed to have a great chance to follow the likes of Jamaal Lascelles, Patrick Bamford, Oliver Burke and Joe Worrall in making the progression into the first-team.
However, Forest’s hopes of rearing another star and setting him on his senior journey could be scuppered by interest from Goodison Park.

Johnson may be three years away from buying his own pints but that will not stop Nottingham Forest fans expressing concern that another of their prized assets could be snapped up before they’ve even had chance to get mud on the famous red kit.
