Some Everton fans on social media have been reacting after seeing pictures of Jean-Philippe Gbamin training with a ball.
The club’s official Twitter account shared images of the Ivorian in training at midday on Friday, and Toffees supporters were absolutely stunned by what they were seeing.
Gbamin has had what can only be described as rotten luck with injuries since joining the Merseyside club, but it seems as though he’s finally back on the right track in terms of recovery.
The former Mainz star joined the club for £25m in the summer of 2019, but due to his constant injury problems, he’s only been able to play two Premier League matches.
At just 25 years of age, Gbamin still has years of his career ahead of him, and we can only hope that his injury problems are now a thing of the past and he can go on to establish himself as a key player in the Everton side.
