Bundesliga side Hannover reportedly wanted Timm Klose from Norwich City or Papy Djilobodji from League One Sunderland.

Norwich City have inadvertently handed Sunderland’s transfer hopes a massive boost with just a few days remaining in the summer window.
It has been well documented for some time that Sunderland are desperate to get rid of £8 million flop Papy Djilolbodji before the end of August. The defender is one of the club’s highest earners on £30,000 a week, but he has no future at the Stadium of Light and incurred the wrath of his club when he allegedly failed to report for pre-season training in July, according to the Chronicle.
So far, Sunderland have struggled to find a buyer for the former Chelsea centre-back. But, thanks in part to Norwich, Djilobodji could finally be on his way.
The president of Bundesliga club Hannover 96, Martin Kind, told Sport Buzzer last week that he was hoping to sign a new defender with Djilobodji and Timm Klose at the top of his wish list.
But, while Djilobodji is not in Sunderland’s plans, the giant Swiss international Klose remains a key figure at Norwich and has started all five of their Championship fixtures so far this season.

According to the Daily Star (live blog, 8.30am), Norwich have therefore refused to sell Klose to Hannover, who will now reportedly go all out to sign Djilobodji before Friday’s deadline.
The Black Cats could owe the Canaries a thank you.
