Crystal Palace reportedly want to offer £15million Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland an escape out of the Championship.

Do Crystal Palace really need a new goalkeeper? Let alone one that would cost a hefty £15 million?
In Wayne Hennessey, the Eagles have an experienced Premier League shot-stopper while Vicente Guaita has produced some encouraging performances since he arrived at Selhurst Park last summer from Getafe.
According to the Sun, however, Palace are still keen to offer Jack Butland a return to the top flight this summer.
It is understood that his Stoke City side would demand £15 million, however, in a deal that would likely see Guaita return to Spain at the end of the season.

Butland is a goalkeeper who has proved himself in the Premier League in the past and he still has a long way to go before he reaches his peak at the age of just 25.
On the other hand, however, anyone who has watched Stoke this season will tell you that Butland’s reputation has suffered in the Championship with the Potters stuck in 16th.
Butland has made some high profile errors and lost his place in the England squad as a result. Are there better options out there?
