Adama Traore was unstoppable once again as Wolverhampton Wanderers came from 1-0 down to draw with Premier League strugglers Newcastle United.

Steve Bruce has admitted his Newcastle United side failed to deal with the threat of Adama Traore as they threw away a 1-0 lead to draw at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday, while speaking to the Chronicle.
Jamaal Lascelles had given a struggling Magpies side the lead before the interval at St James’ Park, scoring just their sixth goal in ten Premier League games this season, but Newcastle were denied a much-needed win when Jonny slammed home an equaliser in the second half following (another) Martin Dubravka error.
Traore played a big role in Jonny’s strike, providing a defence splitting pass in the build-up, with the former Middlesbrough winger once again showing how much he has improved over the last 12 months.
The £18 million man was previously famed for his remarkable pace and a lack of end product but, after providing a series of threatening crosses from the wide right, no one could accuse Traore of being wasteful on Tyneside.

“We didn’t come to terms with Traore in the second half, and we didn’t do enough when we had the ball. That was the most disappointing thing – the number of times we gave it away cheaply,” said Bruce.
Newcastle are hardly the first team to toil against a fit and flying Traore of late. The former Barcelona youngster famously scored both goals in that stunning 2-0 win at Manchester City recently and he changed the game off the bench in the Europa League triumph over Slovan Bratislava in midweek.
