Three years after signing Dele Alli, Spurs could return to MK Dons to nab Dylan Asonganyi.

It’s now almost three years since Tottenham Hotspur invested £5 million in a fresh-faced MK Dons midfielder by the name of Dele Alli.
Flash forward to the present day and that looks like one of the most inspired moves in recent Premier League history. The two-time PFA Young Player of the Year has evolved into one of the finest goalscoring midfielders on the continent and would surely now command a fee closer to the £100,000 million barrier.

Perhaps encouraged by Alli’s remarkable progress in North London, The Guardian reports that Spurs are keeping a close eye on the latest superstar-to-be emerging at the Stadium MK.
New Alli?
Dylan Asonganyi has plundered 20 goals in 17 games for MK Dons’ Under-18 and Under-23 sides this season.
And the report claims that scouts from Tottenham, Arsenal, Chelsea and Leicester were all in attendance as Asonganyi scored twice against Barnet in an FA Youth Cup tie on Tuesday.
The teenager is one of the most exciting attacking prospects in the Football League right now and how long MK Dons can hang onto him remains to be seen.

As it stands, it seems inevitable that Asonganyi will follow in the footsteps of Alli and fellow Dons graduate Brendan Galloway in earning a move to one of England’s biggest sides.
Spurs have one of the most impressive academy systems in English football and Asonganyi would know that, under Mauricio Pochettino, he would be more than just a number and would be provided a platform to prove he belongs at the highest level.
