Seamus Coleman is expected to start for Everton as they welcome Cardiff City to Goodison Park for Saturday’s Premier League clash.

Right-back has become something of a problem position for Cardiff City since their return to the Premier League.
Lee Peltier and Jazz Richards have struggled with injuries in recent months, forcing the Bluebirds to field centre-half Bruno Manga on the flank. And the 30-year-old Gabon international has certainly looked like a square peg in a round hole.
So ahead of Cardiff’s trip to Everton on Saturday, Neil Warnock has taken the chance to express his admiration for The Toffees’ long-serving right-back Seamus Coleman, highlighting the Republic of Ireland international as something of a dream signing.
“When I see Seamus Coleman bombing on, I like him. He’s my type of player,” Warnock told the Daily Post.
“I don’t think we could afford him but I’ll ask Sol (Bamba) to have a word with him if he wants to come.”

30-year-old Coleman has started eight Premier League games for Everton since Marco Silva took over at Goodison Park, establishing himself in the first XI once more after missing much of last season with a broken ankle.
So Cardiff would be better off putting all their energy into trying to sign another Merseyside-based right-back. Wales Online reported on Wednesday that the South Welsh side are keen on Liverpool’s forgotten man Nathaniel Clyne, who is open to leaving Anfield on loan in the New Year.
The England international was given his senior debut by Warnock during his spell in charge of Crystal Palace 10 years ago.
