Nuno Espirito Santo’s Wolverhampton Wanderers are set to take on Premier League strugglers Cardiff City at Molineux on Saturday.

Nathan Blake has backed Wolverhampton Wanderers to return to form by beating Cardiff City in Saturday’s clash at Molineux, while speaking to Wales Online.
Wolves versus Cardiff is a fixture that has stirred up plenty of drama in recent times, the Bluebirds causing a shock when they came from behind to beat Nuno Esprito Santo’s side in November thanks to a Junior Hoilett screamer.
Last April, meanwhile, Wolves won 1-0 in South Wales en route to the Championship title; a game infamous for Cardiff missing two penalties in the final few minutes and Neil Warnock’s rant at his Portuguese counterpart.
The teams are set to meet again on Saturday with their form under question. Wolves lost against bottom of the table Huddersfield in midweek while Cardiff’s last two Premier League games has seen them concede eight goals.
But Blake believes the Wolves will roar back to life.
“Cardiff have always brought energy, competitiveness and aggression that has upset Wolves in recent seasons,” said Blake, who played for both clubs in his footballing career.

“But, unfortunately for the Bluebirds, I think it will be a different story this time. Nuno Espirito Santo has done a great job at Molineux and to have them on 40 points already has been fantastic.
“On this occasion, I can see it being very difficult for Cardiff and I’m predicting a 2-0 Wolves victory.”
While Wolves are comfortable in mid-table, Cardiff are crying out for a result with Warnock’s side tumbling into the relegation zone.
