Christian Pulisic is aiming to ‘do my best’ and win the FA Cup for Chelsea against Liverpool, possibly ending the Reds’ quadruple hopes after claims of a transfer to Anfield this season.
The Merseyside natives are in with a shot of being the first English club to win a quadruple this term. Jurgen Klopp’s men have already clinched the Carabao Cup after victory over the Blues, while they remain in the mix for Premier League and Champions League honours.

Chelsea have come the closest of any English outfit to clinch all four major trophies in the same season. The Stamford Bridge side lifted the FA and EFL Cups in 2006/07, but lost to Liverpool in the Champions League semi-finals while Manchester United won the league.

Liverpool currently trail Manchester City by just one point in the Premier League title race after 31 games. They will also face Villarreal in the Champions League semi-finals on April 27 and May 3 before a potential final against City or Real Madrid at the Stade de France.
Chelsea, meanwhile, await Liverpool in the FA Cup final on May 14 after the Reds beat City in the semis. The Blues booked their place with a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Next month’s FA Cup final could see Pulisic correct his Wembley record after scoring in the 2020 final Chelsea lost to Arsenal 2-1 if Thomas Tuchel’s side can overcome Liverpool, who Calciomercato report have considered a transfer for the United States forward this season.

The £58m winger faced an uncertain future at Stamford Bridge before the January market, while Klopp deliberated making winter reinforcements. Pulisic has only started 17 of his 31 appearances in all competitions so far this term and now eyes ending the Reds’ FA Cup bid.
“Yeah, absolutely, that’s the idea,” Pulisic said, via quotes by the Independent. “We want to get well-prepared. Obviously, we’ve got other games leading up to that.
“But we want to be 100 per cent ready to go when the final comes around, and I’m going to do my best to play a part in that and, hopefully, help us win. I want to play as much as I can now, that’s definitely my goal.”
