Real Madrid’s La Liga star Sergio Ramos became the most hated man in Liverpool when he injured Mo Salah in the Champions League final.

Water is wet, fire is hot, and once again Sergio Ramos has found himself at the centre of a major controversy.
Real Madrid battered Viktoria Plzen 5-0 in the Champions League on Wednesday night thanks to a double from the under-fire Karim Benzema and one each from Casemiro, Gareth Bale and Toni Kroos – but once again all the eyes were on Ramos for all the wrong reasons.
The Madrid skipper broke the nose of Plzen winger Milan Havel in the first half with a stray elbow and, though Ramos claimed after the game that the coming together was purely accidental (Football Espana), it seems not everyone believes him.
Speaking on BT Sport (7 November, 8pm), the outspoken Chris Sutton left no one in any doubt about his feelings towards Ramos.

“There’s no word to describe it other than thuggery. It’s a scandalous challenge,” Sutton said. “He has to be banned and banned for a long time. That is a disgusting challenge.”
And, not wasting a chance to prove their point about Ramos, Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter in their droves to highlight another example of the defender’s recklessness.
The World Cup winner became the most hated man on Merseyside in May when he dislocated Mo Salah’s shoulder during Real’s 3-1 Champions League final victory against Liverpool in Kiev.

Jurgen Klopp’s side collapsed without their Egyptian talisman – who hasn’t looked the same irrepressible goal scoring force since leaving the pitch in tears.
And it seems that the latest Ramos storm has hardly endeared him to Liverpool fans.
