Scottish Premiership champions Celtic sold their prolific striker Moussa Dembele to Ligue 1 outfit Lyon last summer and he is shining in France.

After a slow start to life at Lyon, Moussa Dembele is going from strength to strength.
With a £20 million price tag on his head (Scottish Sun), the France U21 international was under pressure to deliver for his new club; particularly as he was tasked with replacing the influential Mariano Diaz after the Spaniard’s return to Real Madrid.
Dembele had shone in Scotland with Celtic, winning six trophies in just two years under Brendan Rodgers in the famous green and white shirt. But the jury was out as to whether the striker could replicate that success in a tougher, more competitive, division.
On current form, however, he is silencing his critics. Dembele’s goal in Sunday’s thrilling 3-2 Ligue 1 win against Montpellier was his 16th in all competitions for Lyon.
In fact, he has become the first player to score 16 times in his debut season for Les Gones since Steve Marlet all the way back in 2000/01.

Only four players, Florian Thauvin, Nicholas Pepe and PSG duo Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani, have netted more Ligue 1 goals this season.
£20 million is quickly looking like a bargain.
