Liverpool reportedly want to sign Benfica’s Joao Felix and Sporting Lisbon captain Bruno Fernandes.

Jose Mourinho has praised the talent of two of Portugal’s rising stars – Bruno Fernandes and Joao Felix – as reports link the Primeira Liga talents with a summer move to Liverpool, in quotes reported by BeSoccer.
At the age of just 19, Felix has emerged as arguably the most coveted teenager in world football after a sensational breakthrough season at Benfica, scoring 12 goals in all competitions.
The Mirror reports that Liverpool are one of many teams interested in signing a player who has been compared to 2007 Ballon D’Or winner Kaka.
Bruno Fernandes, meanwhile, has tallied a remarkable 25 goals and 14 assists from the centre of midfield for Sporting Lisbon. And Liverpool are also one of the top contenders for his signature with Sporting looking likely to sell this summer, The Mirror adds.
And while neither has the talent to rival Cristiano Ronaldo’s status as the undisputed King of Portugal right now, former Manchester United and Chelsea boss Mourinho believes Felix and Fernandes both possess huge potential.

“It’s ridiculous to compare them both with Cristiano Ronaldo, no matter how much talent they possess”, Mourinho said in quotes reported by BeSoccer.
“They are two great players and can go to great clubs, but they are not Cristiano Ronaldo.”
Whether that ‘great club’ proves to be Liverpool remains to be seen.
