Rangers have already signed one Motherwell star in Jake Hastie but could they make a move for another Scottish Premiership talent thriving at Fir Park?

Motherwell could be about to lose their two most promising young talents.
Highly-rated winger Jake Hastie is already on his way to Rangers after 12 games and six goals in the top flight of Scottish football, signing a pre-contract agreement to seal a switch to Ibrox when his contract expires in July.
And David Turnbull could be heading out of Fir Park too. According to the Scottish Sun, the influential midfielder is on the radar of Derby County, Cardiff and Bristol City after winning the FWA’s Young Scottish Footballer of the Year award at the weekend.
Fortunately for Motherwell, Turnbull is under contract until 2021, meaning he will not follow in Hastie’s footsteps and walk away for absolutely nothing.
But even though Rangers are hardly short of options in the centre of the park, Steven Gerrard’s side must be tempted to return to Fir Park to try and nab another of Stephen Robinson’s star players.

Stuart Arfield is the only midfielder in Rangers’ squad who has hit double figures in 2018/19 and even he has two less than Turnbull, who has notched 14 goals in all competitions – a career best tally for the 19-year-old.
Gerrard has plenty of intelligent passers and dynamic ball-winners but few like Turnbull, a classy, prolific midfielder with the potential to become one of the Premiership’s most feared attacking talents.
This is exactly the kind of intelligent, long-term addition Rangers need to make if they are to end Celtic’s reign of terror.
