Scottish Premiership champions Celtic reportedly want David Turnbull, who is also an alleged target for Brighton and Hove Albion.

Motherwell’s CEO Alan Burrows has warned Celtic on Twitter that the Scottish Premiership club will not sell star man David Turnbull on the cheap.
The 19-year-old was arguably the most impressive breakout star in the 2018/19 season, winning the SFWA Young Player of the Year award after scoring 16 goals in all competitions for Stephen Robinson’s side from an attacking midfield role.
The Mail reports that Celtic are now planning a £1.2 million bid for Turnbull, who is also a target for Premier League outfit Brighton and Hove Albion.

But Burrows has made it clear that Motherwell want far more than £1.2 million for their star man. Celtic or Brighton would have to make Turnbull the most expensive export in Motherwell’s history.
Celtic might have won the Scottish Premiership title for an eight year in a row as part of a third successive domestic treble but Neil Lennon’s side are expected to strengthen this summer as they look to avoid complacency while Rangers put together a potentially title-winning squad on the other half of Glasgow.
