Big things were expected of Ethan Ebanks-Landell when he swapped Championship giants Wolverhampton Wanderers for League One MK Dons.

MK Dons fans must be sick of seeing Midland loanees on their team sheet.
It is fair to say Aaron Tshibola didn’t exactly stand out for the right reasons during his 16 game spell at Stadium MK from Aston Villa. In fact, the £5 million midfielder was so disappointing that the League One side sent him back to Villa less than halfway through his season-long loan deal.
And it appears that another Championship loanee, Ethan Ebanks-Landell, has now taken on the role of scapegoat at MK Dons.

Big things were expected of the Wolves-owned centre-back when he joined in the summer. After all, Ebanks-Landell had impressed massively during a spell at Sheffield United in 2016/17, scoring five times from centre-back as Chris Wilder’s Blades cruised to the third tier title.
But the 25-year-old has not exactly made the same impression with the Dons.

He may have started 22 league games so far this season but, in the eyes of some supporters, that is far too many. Dan Micciche’s side are third bottom in League One, six points adrift of safety, and have conceded 44 goals in 31 league games this season.
So if Ebanks-Landell looks out of his depth in the bottom of League One, what chance does he have of securing a future in a Wolves side who look certain to be playing Premier League football next season?
