Rangers are reportedly battling Premier League West Ham United to sign Milwall defender Romeo.

Mahlon Romeo might have a decision to make this summer.
The young defender has impressed in the blue of Millwall in recent months and, according to the Express, he has caught the eye of Rangers and West Ham United as a result.
If Romeo finds himself at the centre of a tug-of-war, should he choose the Premier League or an off-season switch to Glasgow? That depends on whether he wants to play regular first-team football.
At West Ham, they appear to have a right-back for many years with Ryan Fredericks finally starting to impress after his 2018 move from Fulham. It seems there is life in Pablo Zabaleta, too, with the old dog telling Sky Sports in December that he has no intention of retiring at the end of the season.
Romeo could be third choice if he leaves Millwall for bitter rivals West Ham. At Rangers, however, a role in Steven Gerrard’s starting XI could beckon.

The Express reports that Rangers see the Antigua and Barbuda international as a potential replacement for captain James Tavernier, who is expected to attract plenty of interest again.
Even if Tavernier stays at Ibrox, Romeo would surely find himself ahead of Jon Flanagan, the former Liverpool defender who has struggled this season and has often featured on the left instead.
Furthermore, with Rangers set for another gruelling European campaign next season, Gerrard’s side will have a far more hectic fixture schedule than West Ham. Plenty of opportunities for Romeo to prove himself then.
