Ki Sung-Yeung left Scottish Premiership giants Celtic for the Premier League and Swansea City back in 2012, but is a Parkhead return possible?

Swansea City have been relegated from the Premier League and Ki Sung-Yeung has not waited around to announce his departure from the Liberty Stadium.
Although if Ki wanted to return to where it all began on British shores, he would seemingly be welcomed back with open arms.

It was Celtic who gave Ki his big break, signing him from FC Seoul in 2009 for a fee of around £2 million. And the 6ft 2ins midfielder quickly became a fan favourite during his three years in Glasgow, winning the Scottish Premiership title in 2012 before joining Swansea for £6 million.
These days, Ki is older, wiser and more mature – a 29-year-old with six years of Premier League experience under his belt.

And with Celtic seemingly in need of a new midfielder this summer with both Tom Rogic and Callum McGregor linked with moves to the Premier League, supporters have taken to Twitter to encourage the Scottish Premiership champions to re-sign a player just one appearance short of 100 international caps.
