Aston Villa striker Tammy Abraham has scored six goals in four Championship games ahead of Saturday’s trip to Middlesbrough.

Middlesbrough host Aston Villa in Saturday’s late kick-off in what promises to be the most high-profile game in the Championship this weekend.
Boro are currently third in the table and just two points off the top while Aston Villa could potentially move into the play-off places if results go their way.
And there is one player in particular that Middlesbrough will have to keep a very close eye on. Tammy Abraham, after all, could hardly be heading to the North East in better form after scoring four goals in Wednesday’s thrilling 5-5 draw with Nottingham Forest.
But Boro have the inside track on Abraham thanks to Dael Fry, the Chelsea loanee’s England U21 teammate. And, speaking to the Northern Echo, Fry has admitted that he will warn his defensive partner Aden Flint about Villa’s red-hot centre-forward.
“Villa have hit a bit of form. There’s a pal of mine Tammy Abraham up top so I’ll be telling Aden Flint all about him,” the 21-year-old said. “It will be a tough game but with the momentum we’ve got we should be fine.”

Abraham has found form in quite remarkable style since Dean Smith replaced Steve Bruce at the helm of Aston Villa, scoring six times in his last four games. In total, the 21-year-old has 10 goals in 13 Championship matches.
But Middlesbrough boast the best defensive record in the division with just 10 goals conceded so far.
