Chris Wilder has taken Sheffield United from League One to the Premier League in just two years.

Kevin McCabe has admitted to talkSPORT that he is unsure what the future holds for Chris Wilder after a dramatic day at Bramall Lane, speaking to Jim White (17 September, 10.30am).
After a two-year feud between co-owners McCabe and Prince Abdullah, the boyhood fan has lost his 50 per cent stake after a high court ruling on Monday, as reported by the Sun.
It is no secret that Wilder, who led the Blades from the third-tier to the Premier League in just two seasons in the Steel City, has a close relationship with McCabe. And, taking to Twitter, Sheffield United fans in great numbers reacted with concern after Prince Abdullah was granted full control of the club, fearing that this could pave the way for Wilder’s departure.
So McCabe’s comments on Tuesday are exactly what the supporters did not want to hear.
“I have hesitation and concern on all those aspects, the overall management off the field, more particularly the management of the club on the field,” McCabe said when asked whether the former Northampton Town boss’s future had been thrown into doubt.
“I know Chris well, he’s a true friend.”

Wilder was linked with a whole host of clubs over the summer but he turned down the likes of West Bromwich Albion, as reported by the Sun (2 June, page 60), in order to lead the club he has supported all his life into their first top-flight campaign in over a decade.
But if Wilder does follow McCabe out of Bramall Lane, he certainly won’t be short of offers.
