Three Premier League sides have enquired about Chelsea’s Mason Mount and Newcastle United should be among them.

Kenedy’s loan move from Chelsea to Newcastle United in the January transfer window has worked out perfectly for every party.

The Brazilian winger provided some much needed attacking quality to Newcastle’s squad and has played a major role in their successful survival bid while simultaneously proving to his parent club that he can indeed cut it in the Premier League.

And, according to the Northern Echo, Kenedy’s price-tag has now risen to at least £15 million amid interest from the likes of Bayern Munich, meaning Chelsea will earn a sizeable profit if they decide to cash in this summer.

So with The Sun reporting that a number of Premier League sides are interested in loaning another fresh-faced Chelsea starlet, Mason Mount, Newcastle should attempt to repeat their brilliant January deal.

Mount is yet to make a breakthrough at Stamford Bridge but has shown why he was named the Player of the Tournament as England’s U19s won the European Championships last summer during a sublime loan spell at Vitesse Arnhem in Holland.

Mount has scored nine goals and set up seven, turning heads with his intelligence, composure, creativity and dazzling set-piece prowess.

It is understood that Chelsea believe the latest highly-rated academy graduate has a big future in West London but a loan move to another Premier League side would give him a larger platform. The Sun claims that three top flight sides have expressed an interest and Newcastle should be among them.

A number 10 is understood to be Rafa Benitez’s top target this summer, as reported by The Chronicle, but a side without unlimited funds should seriously consider doing a deal with Chelsea again.

After all, Kenedy didn’t turn out so bad.
