Hakim Ziyech has shone in the Eredivisie and the Champions League but will Tottenham Hotspur bring him to the Premier League this summer?

Martin Jol has urged Tottenham Hotspur to sign Hakim Ziyech after their Champions League semi-final with Ajax, while speaking to the Guardian.
The Moroccan international has been one of the stars of an Ajax team who have reached the last four of Europe’s premiere club competition for the first time this century while producing 20 goals and 20 assists in all competitions.
Ziyech, a mercurial play-maker with a wand of a left foot, is likely to give Spurs plenty of problems in Tuesday’s semi-final first leg in North London.
And Jol, who has coached both sides in a long managerial career, believes the former FC Twente talisman should be on his way to Tottenham regardless of this week’s scoreline.
“If I was Spurs, I would sign Ziyech. He is not the strongest but he is developing into a very good player,” said Jol, who coached Spurs between 2004 and 2007.

Fortunately for Jol, he could get his wish. The Guardian reported in March that Tottenham have a long-standing interest in 26-year-old Ziyech, who has the talent and the statistics to potentially replace Christian Eriksen if he continues to resist a new long-term contract.
The Mirror reports that Ajax would demand £25 million for a player who is also a target for Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Bayern Munich.
