Everton have been linked with two Eredivisie stars, PSV Eindhoven winger Lozano and Ajax’s Champions League ace Neres.

Everton sporting director Marcel Brands has played down speculation linking the Premier League outfit with Eredivisie stars David Neres and Hirving Lozano, while speaking to NOS.
The Toffees are expected to spend in the off-season as they look to break into the top six after an encouraging end to Marco Silva’s debut season at Goodison Park.
And, with Everton short of goals, reports have linked the Merseyside outfit with two of the most exciting forwards in Dutch football right now – Neres and Lozano.
Ajax’s Champions League semi-finalist Neres was tipped to join Everton for £38 million by Brazilian publication UOL while PSV’s prolific Mexican international Lozano was first named as a target by Super Deportivo all the way back in 2017.
Brands, however, has made it clear that neither Neres or Lozano are on the verge of joining Everton ahead of the summer transfer window.

“That [players being linked] always happens during this period,” Brands told NOS.
“I read about Neres, I read about Lozano. You name them, but we have no contact with these players.”
Neres and Lozano are both head to head at the top of the Eredivisie table with the battle between Ajax and PSV heading into the final two matchdays. They have scored a combined 33 goals in all competitions this season, Neres contributing 12 while Lozano has a career-best 21 to his name.
