Manchester City have had an indifferent season under new manager Pep Guardiola. It immediately looked like he was on to a winner in English football but soon he found life tough and experienced some teething problems.
One area he has struggled to get right is up front. Sergio Aguero has been in and out this season, Gabriel Jesus impressed before injury whilst Kelechi Iheanacho does not seem a Guardiola-like player at all.
What he needs is someone like a Robert Lewandowski, or a Harry Kane. Violently ruthless in front of goal, built for English football and tenaciously hard-working. He may already have the perfect player.

The 19-year-old joined City in 2015 from Bursaspor. Since then he has spent time out on loan in Belgium and the Netherlands.
He scored nine goals in 14 games for NAC Breda in the second half of last season. This season he went to FC Twente. He has netted 13 goals in 26 games this season and is looking like a genuine talent for the future.
He is very similar in playing style to Tottenham striker Kane and City could certainly do with a striker in this ilk.
City are bound to be linked with a host of big-name strikers in the weeks and months to come. But they might do well to look internally before splashing exorbitant amounts of cash yet again.
