Everton left-back Lucas Digne arrived at Goodison Park from La Liga champions Barcelona and has impressed so far in the Premier League.

For the first time since he arrived at Everton from Swansea City in 2017, Gylfi Sigurdsson is looking like a £45 million player.
The Icelandic international was far from his best during a difficult debut season at Goodison Park, often being forced out wide in order to accommodate Wayne Rooney.
But, since Rooney’s exit and Marco Silva’s arrival, Sigurdsson has been reinstated in his favoured number ten position and is reminding everyone why Everton made him their record signing just over a year ago.
The 29-year-old followed up his clinical brace against Fulham with a stunning 30-yard winner away at Leicester City on Saturday. And summer signing Lucas Digne, whose France side take on Iceland in a friendly on Thursday, has paid tribute to his in-form teammate.
“Gylfi is so good and a very important player for us at Everton,” the left-back, who signed from Barcelona for £18 million, told the club’s official website.

“His goal (against Leicester) was amazing and it was important for the team. When he shot I said, ‘Wow!’. As soon as he hit the ball you could see it was going to be a goal.
“I spoke to him after the game and said, ‘Don’t score the same goal against France!”
Sigurdsson has perhaps been the biggest beneficiary so far of Silva’s appointment on Merseyside, proving that he can make the difference for a side fighting at the top end of the Premier League table.
