Nottingham Forest flop Thomas Lam and former Queens Park Rangers forward El Khayati were in action in the Eredivisie at the weekend.

It was a battle between the Championship flops as PEC Zwolle hosted ADO Den Haag at the weekend.
And while a man loaned out by Nottingham Forest scored the first of the game’s five goals, he was overshadowed by a player released by Queens Park Rangers.
Thomas Lam returned to the Eredivisie with Zwolle in the summer after failing to revive a flailing Nottingham Forest career, despite an impressive pre-season which appeared at one point to change Aitor Karanka’s mind.
And the Finland international set his new side on their way against ADO, heading home a corner early in the first half.
From then on, however, Lam and his fellow Zwolle defenders were left red-faced, dazed and confused by a wonderful display from a man who saw his contract terminated by QPR after just 25 games.

Abdenasser El Khayati has been outstanding for ADO this season and further established his status as one of the Eredivisie’s most influential players as he helped his side turn around a one goal lead to win 3-2.
The Moroccan cancelled out Lam’s effort with a cool penalty, fired home his 10th goal in 13 games with a precise left-footed finish and then set up the winner with a marvellous cross.
Lam, as he was throughout much of his short Forest career, was powerless to prevent a disappointing defeat.
