Leeds United reportedly showed an interest in the highly-rated Brentford midfielder Ryan Woods, who is wanted by Championship side Swansea City.

Life under Marcelo Bielsa could hardly have started better for Leeds United. In league and cup, The Whites have won three out of three, scoring three against Stoke, four against Derby and two against Bolton.
No wonder the fans are giddy with excitement, hoping that their 14-year exile from the Premier League is nearly at an end.
But one common concern is the workload lying in wait for Leeds. Bielsa’s typically high-octane style, coupled with a crammed fixture schedule and a rather small squad, means a post-Christmas drop-off looks a genuine possibility.
So that is why the Leeds manager wants to bring in one more signing before the window shuts with Football League clubs permitted to complete loan deals until the end of August.
Now, Leeds fans were dreaming of the Brentford midfielder Ryan Woods and it seems that the 24-year-old has admirers at Elland Road with the Yorkshire Evening Post claiming that the West Yorkshire giants had shown an interest.

Swansea City, who failed to meet Woods’ £7 million valuation last week, want him on loan according to the BBC. Brentford have sold a number of their key players for big money in recent transfer windows and should they be willing to accept a loan-to-buy bid then Leeds surely cannot afford to stand by and watch.
Tenacious yet technically gifted, Woods would be a perfect fit for Bielsa’s side.
