Liverpool brought Bobby Adekanye to the Premier League from La Liga champions Barcelona in 2015 but is he heading back to the Camp Nou?

Bobby Adekanye has admitted that Barcelona have contacted him about a potential return to the Camp Nou as he prepares to leave Liverpool on a free transfer, while speaking to Voetbal Zone.
The Nigerian striker arrived at Anfield four years ago after a spell in Barcelona’s famed La Masia academy, but he has failed to translate his undoubted potential into first-team football under Jurgen Klopp.
Adekanye has been the subject of plenty of speculation about his future in recent months, with his contract due to expire in July.
The 20-year-old confirmed on Tuesday that he has rejected a new three-year deal at Liverpool due to what he sees as broken promises from the Premier League giants.
His frustrations seem to stem from being left out of the club’s pre-season tour of the USA last year despite apparently being informed that he would be involved.

Adekanye has been heavily linked with Lazio but, in quotes reported by Voetbal Zone, he has claimed that a shock return to Barca is on the cards.
“(Lazio) is one of the clubs that is interested, but it is not yet 100% decided,” Adekanye said.
“I also heard from Barcelona, in the Netherlands Willem II came by. I can’t name the entire list of clubs now because then we will be busy tomorrow. But there is interest from, among others, the Netherlands, Italy and Spain.”
Barcelona have one of the most renowned academies in world football. But few youngsters have made the progression from the youth ranks into the first-team in recent seasons with Sandro Ramirez, Munir El Haddadi and Sergi Samper among those who failed to make the grade.
