Premier League newcomers Norwich City are being linked with Liverpool’s Republic of Ireland starlet Conor Masterson.

Liverpool are set to release young defender Connor Masterson this summer, according to the Liverpool Echo, giving Norwich City the chance to sign him on a free transfer.
The Republic of Ireland U21 international joined the Merseyside giants back in 2014 from Lucan United and captained the club at U18 level.
While Masterson has not made a single first-team appearance for Liverpool, he was on the bench for a Champions League clash with Manchester City and a derby against Everton.
But, according to the Echo, the youngster’s five-year spell at Anfield has come to an end. He will apparently be released when his contract expires in the summer.
And this opens the door for Premier League newcomers Norwich.

According to the Sun, Daniel Farke’s bargain-hunting side are on the lookout for another inspired transfer coup and see Masterson as an option given that he will become a free agent in a matter of weeks.
Norwich won the Championship title after making a series of brilliant, cut-price additions and Masterson could be another brainwave by their revered sporting director Stuart Webber.
