Premier League title chasers Liverpool have been linked with Ajax’s Champions League and Eredivisie star David Neres.

There were plenty of reasons for Liverpool fans to tune into Tuesday’s Champions League semi-final clash between Tottenham Hotspur and Ajax in North London, and not just because they will meet the winner if they manage to battle their way past Barcelona over two legs.
In recent weeks, Liverpool have been linked with almost half of the Ajax squad, including David Neres.

Le10 Sport claimed in April that Jurgen Klopp’s side had joined the race for the Brazilian international, a jet-heeled and tricky winger who has shone as Ajax reached the final four for the first time this century.
Nrres has produced 12 goals and 15 assists in all competitions this season. And although he missed the chance to grab goal number 13 on Tuesday night, hitting the post with the goal at his mercy, another industrious and skilful performance has certainly impressed those who tuned in from the North West.
According to UOL Esporte, Everton are keen on Neres too with Ajax demanding £38 million. But he’d be more than welcome on the other side of Stanley Park.
