Angus Gunn will come up against Harry Maguire when Southampton travel to Leicester City for the EFL Cup fourth round

Angus Gunn was the hero on Tuesday night as Southampton set up an EFL Cup fourth round fixture away at Leicester City.
In just his second game since his £13.5 million move from Manchester City, the Saints goalkeeper produced a Man of the Match performance in the third round clash at Everton, saving Theo Walcott’s penalty to send Mark Hughes’ side through after a tense 1-1 draw across 90 minutes.
And Leicester defender Harry Maguire, who knows Gunn from their time together on England duty, is seemingly looking forward to a reunion with the 22-year-old shot-stopper.

Having started the 1-0 win away at Brighton and Tuesday’s game against Everton, Gunn seems to have established himself as Southampton’s cup ‘keeper for the rest of this season with Alex McCarthy given a rest.
Gunn can expect to start at the King Power on October 30. And his net could come under pressure from his good pal Maguire, whose thunderbolt header in Saturday’s 2-0 win at Newcastle United established his growing reputation as a set-piece threat.
